Juniors

KWFC offers a wide range of options for junior players (both boys and girls), and in 2022 was announced as the MiniRoos Club of the Year by Football West.

Our junior sides play in the Football West Junior competitions and include:

Clusters (5-7yo) focussed on fun and skill development for the youngest boys and girls first starting out in the game.

MiniRoos (8-12yo) building key skills through small-sided games and modified rules, fostering a love for the world’s most popular sport in a supportive, engaging environment.

Junior Community League (13-16yo) caters to teams and players who prefer to play locally. It focuses on inclusivity, local engagement and participation, allowing clubs to field multiple teams within the same age group.

Junior Development League (13-16yo) being the most competitive platform for junior football in WA, designed to nurture talent and prepare players for higher competition levels including progression to Senior Men’s and Women’s football.

In 2026, our Junior Boys program is overseen by Technical Director Howard Tweats.

How To Register

We have had an overwhelming response to EOIs for the 2026 season, however some spots still remain across various age groups.

If you or your child are keen to play for KWFC in 2026, please send details through by visiting our Contact page and we will advise what spots are currently available.

Following expressions of interest and payment of club fees, members need to complete their Football West registration in the New Year by using the Play Football registration system.

It’s a secure online registration system and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All players, coaches and team managers are required to register.

If your child is re-registering from the previous season, you will need to use the email address that their account is registered to. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.

FFA have put together a guide on how to register your child on the Play Football registration system.
