Kingsley Westside offers a wide range of teams for junior players, and in 2022 was announced as the MiniRoos Club of the Year by Football West.
We have teams in MiniRoos for ages u8s to u12s and teams competing in the Football West Junior competitions for u13s and above.
MiniRoos is designed for the youngest kids of all abilities. The nation-wide initiative uses short game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way.
It focuses on learning new skills, being active and making lifelong friends. Kingsley Westside FC is proud to offer MiniRoos teams for our Junior Members to learn to play football in a fun and family friendly environment.
Competiton sides are u13s and above. KWFC Teams can be placed in the Junior Development League or Community Leagues.
We have teams competing in junior competitions from under 13’s and upwards competing in the Football West Junior competitions.
Junior trials generally take place in October or November for positions in each age group’s “first team”.
We focus on developing our Junior Players through a State League Under 18’s pathway.

Junior Registration Days are held in late November / early December each year, with a further Registration Day held a few months later, prior to the season starting.
From early January our members will need to complete their Football West membership by using the Play Football registration system. It’s a secure online registration system and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All players, coaches and team managers are required to register.
If your child is re-registering from the previous season, you will need to use the email address that their account is registered to. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Junior Registrar.

Direct credit to the club is required if you have already registered your interest with us and paid your deposit. (no payment required to Football West at that stage)
If registering to play from early January via the Play Football System, you will have the option to make payment through Mastercard and Visa cards directly through the Play Football registration system.

Is your child eligible for up to $300 towards joining a sporting club?
If your child is between 5 and 18 years and is named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card they may be eligible to receive up to $150 per calendar year towards club fees for registered KidSport Clubs.
KidSport wants to help children experience the benefits of participating in club sport and connecting with their community.
